Vintage saxophone collection

Here’s a picture of another horn that author J. A. Rollins has added to his vintage saxophone collection.

It’s a Conn New Wonder circa 1930. This particular horn is the 6M a Transitional alto saxophone. Like many New Wonders it has s split bell as well as a ‘nail file’ G sharp key. The bell is also heavily engraved and the horn has a micro tuner neck mechanism. This series precedes the Conn Naked Lady series, which is the next horn to be added to the author’s collection.

Make sure you see us at the Eubie Blake Center on May 24 where we’ll debut Never Die the C-Melody Saxophone.
